PFS Patient Account Representative, Patient Accounting

Position Summary

Patient Accounts Representative – Remote. This role works directly under the supervision of the Administrator and serves as a liaison between the home and the executive office. The position is full‑time and involves managing patient accounts, ensuring accurate billing and timely resolution of disputes.

Remote – hybrid options available upon full training and manager discretion. Candidates must reside in the States of New York or Pennsylvania.

• Investigate, appeal, and resolve denied claims.
• Work directly with payers to secure reimbursement for services provided across the health system.
• Analyze credit balances on patient accounts and determine appropriate actions.
• Work accounts to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Have a solid understanding of the Revenue Cycle and related financial processes.
• Independently monitor and control accounts receivables of third‑party payers.

Hourly rate: $18.00 – $19.40. Exact salary determined by education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations.
