Position: Crisis Clinical Supervisor (Open Until Filled)
Location: Tulalip Bay

JOB SUMMARY

The Crisis Clinical Supervisor will provide suicide and mental health crisis screening and intervention for the Tulalip community. Networks with organizations/agencies to coordinate services for clients and families involved with suicide or other mental health crises. Educates the community on how to access the crisis system and acts as a liaison when needed to ensure the crisis Mental Health System is working effectively for tribal members.

Provides best practice trainings on suicide prevention for the community. Provides the following clinical services: intervention, assessment, brief therapy, family meeting facilitation and connection to ongoing services. Provides ongoing communication and collaboration with other Tulalip departments. Provides clinical supervision for Crisis Intervention Therapists and Certified Peer counselors.

COMPENSATION

$41.06 hr. Applicant may be offered more depending on experience.

Minimum Required Education
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.
Minimum Related Experience
  • Five (5) years of experience working with children and families in crisis; demonstrating sensitivity to individual, family, and cultural difference with the ability to engage and work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Five (5) years of experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical practice.
  • Experience in Mental Health Emergency Service/Crisis.
  • Experience in the development of new and existing programs.
  • Experience as a trainer and consultant to law enforcement, CPS, ICW agencies preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records i.e. EPIC preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites
  • WA State Driver’s License.
  • Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation (Abstract Required).
  • Must possess an unrestricted WA State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
  • CPR/First Aid certificate.
  • Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray prior to hire.
  • HIPAA certification upon hire.
  • Must abide by departments vaccination policy and will need to provide immunization records.
  • Must complete a Tulalip Health System pre-onboarding credentialing prior to start date.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
