Position:
Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our geriatric patients. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain and improve their physical abilities. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $33-$37/hour, plus relocation assistance and sign on incentives for qualified candidates.

• Work closely with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for geriatric patients
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards for patient care

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current state license or eligibility for state licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a geriatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy techniques and equipment
