Occupational Therapist Assistant

Salary Range: $30-$35/hour

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to individuals with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities. Your role will be crucial in helping clients achieve their maximum level of independence and improve their quality of life.

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating clients' needs and developing treatment plans
• Implement treatment plans and provide therapy services to clients
• Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate clients and their families on therapeutic activities and techniques to improve daily functioning
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' treatment and progress
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of therapy services

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• State licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
• Knowledge of current therapy techniques and practices
• Ability to adapt to different work settings and client needs
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training
