Description:
This position supports both X-Ray and CT services while on duty. The tech will be responsible for a mix of X-ray and CT equipment. All equipment is Siemens. The CT unit is a Siemens Somatom Go.TOP 128 slice unit. The X-ray equipment includes fully digital portable units and a fixed digital room. The average number of studies performed during a shift is between 15 and 30.
The tech will typically work independently between 7 PM and 9 PM. Call is not required. Floating may be required as needed within the scope of practice. The applicant must have experience in preparation and administration of contrast media. Skills required include working with various patient age groups from infants to geriatrics.
