Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist

Job Summary:

• Support patients in maintaining or restoring cardiopulmonary function under physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Use initiative to address and solve problems as they arise.
• Apply procedures, standards, and protocols to care for patients of all ages.
• Report to the Manager of Respiratory Care Services, who evaluates and reviews performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Eligible for license/registration in one of the following (upon hire):
• National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT).
• National Certified Polysomnographic Technician (BRPT).
• National Sleep Disorders Specialty (NBRC).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory care or sleep study technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent critical care experience (within the last 12 months).
• Recent experience in sleep study technology.
• New graduates may be considered.
