Dietician (Healthcare)
Overall responsibility for clinical & nutritional direction for Dietary Services. Assists with planning and helps establish dietary policies and procedures regarding patient meals. Assists in establishing nutritionally balanced and appropriate menus for patient service. Ensures that patients receive appropriate nutrition for their disease state. Provides nutritional assessment and dietary counseling to patients in a timely manner.
Qualifications- English / Spanish speaking preferred.
- Must hold current nationally accepted Registered Dietician (RD) credentials from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Must have thorough knowledge of dietary / nutrition management, menu planning, therapeutic diets.
- Ability to technically direct and secure cooperation of personnel in the department in regards to patient food services.
