Physical Therapy Assistant - Home Health

Role: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being, following a plan of care under supervision.

• Perform physical therapy procedures as per state laws and under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, ADL, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Monitor, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT and healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers within scope of practice.

• Current licensure, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy in Washington.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse home environments.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and availability for weekend rotations.
• Preferred:
  Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and transferring patients.
