Medical Lab Technologist

Prairie Band Construction, a Native American tribally owned contractor, seeks a Medical Lab Technologist to support worker health across construction and infrastructure projects. In this on-site role, you'll perform clinical testing, process specimens, and operate lab analyzers to deliver accurate, timely results for occupational and field health programs. You'll manage quality control, maintain CLIA-compliant records, and uphold strict safety standards. Collaborating with project and safety teams, you'll help protect employee health while contributing to meaningful tribal, federal, and commercial work.

Responsibilities

• Perform hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology testing for field and occupational health needs
• Collect, label, and process specimens following strict chain-of-custody and safety protocols
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers and laboratory equipment
• Perform and document quality control, proficiency testing, and instrument troubleshooting
• Review and validate test results, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Document all work in the laboratory information system and prepare clear reports for providers and project teams
• Maintain compliance with CLIA and relevant regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborate with safety, medical, and project teams to support worker health monitoring on construction projects
• Manage lab inventory, ordering, and storage of reagents and supplies
• Contribute to continuous improvement of lab procedures, workflows, and safety practices
