Job Summary:The licensed physical therapist evaluates, examines, treats, monitors and provides ongoing standardized pediatric assessments of patients/clients; performs all necessary paperwork/reports; helps to plan and develop our new pediatric program; maintains communication with patients/clients, patient/client family, caregiver and physician and other staff; supervises therapy assistants and support staff; works with a team of other pediatric therapists to provide one-on-one and co-treatments; and other diverse duties as requested or required.
Our pediatric clinical team currently consists of 1 Physical Therapist (PT), 3 Occupational Therapists (OTs), and 4 Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs). We recently relocated to a newly renovated clinical space featuring state-of-the-art equipment and a variety of dedicated treatment areas designed to support individualized pediatric care. This space includes:
- Dedicated examination rooms for personalized evaluations and assessments
- Pediatric gym equipped with swings, ziplines, hammocks, and other therapeutic equipment integrated into a full suspension frame system
- Sensory room featuring slides, stairs, ladders, and other equipment to support sensory integration and regulation
- Additional sensory and fine-motor areas for activities targeting fine-motor development and other functional skills
- Dedicated feeding area to support individualized feeding and swallowing interventions
The clinic currently provides 45-minute, one-on-one treatment sessions, allowing our therapists to provide focused, individualized care. All areas of our department utilize EPIC as our electronic medical record (EMR) system, supporting continuity of care and streamlined communication across disciplines.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s (B.A., B.S.), Master’s (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy
Licensure & Certifications Requirements:Physical Therapy board certification and licensure according to state regulations.
Supervisor's license as required by state.
Valid Driver's license.
Pay Range$43.00-$65.00
