Summary of Functions
Responsible for cleaning cottages and RV Resort facilities while delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining cleanliness standards consistent with Good Sam 10/10/10 service expectations, Kalispel Hospitality values, and Northern Quest Resort & Casino operational standards. Ensure guest accommodations and public areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and welcoming condition while providing professional and courteous service to guests and team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with Kalispel Tribe of Indians Internal Controls and Northern Quest Resort & Casino policies and procedures.
- Maintains Good Sam 10/10/10 and Kalispel Hospitality service standards in all guest and team member interactions.
- Maintains a positive, professional attitude while anticipating and responding to guest needs, concerns, and requests.
- Cleans cottages and RV Resort facilities in accordance with established cleanliness standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains and properly cares for cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Reports damages, missing items, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and found property promptly to leadership.
- Maintains security and accountability of assigned passkeys and access devices.
- Keeps work carts organized, clean, stocked, and presentable.
- Uses only approved cleaning chemicals and supplies provided by the department.
- Provides anticipatory service by documenting and communicating guest requests and preferences.
- Demonstrates genuine interest and concern for guest satisfaction.
- Maintains a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
- Provides exceptional service to guests and team members while performing assigned duties.
- Conducts all work in a professional manner consistent with Northern Quest standards.
- Collaborates with team members to maintain high service and cleanliness standards.
- Utilizes effective interpersonal communication skills with guests and team members.
- Shares information with other departments to support operational success and guest satisfaction.
- Maintains guest confidentiality standards.
- Maintains knowledge of resort emergency procedures and safety protocols.
- Complies with all safety, security, and loss prevention procedures.
- Maintains control and protection of company assets.
- Maintains Four Diamond service standards.
- Responsible for maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
- Assists with other resort duties as needed, including site setup, housekeeping support, and light maintenance tasks.
- May be required to serve as a panelist for Internal Review Hearings.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by leadership.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Gaming License.
- Hepatitis A and B vaccinations required.
- Valid Washington or Idaho Driver's License required and must be maintained while operating a Tribal vehicle.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as business needs require.

- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequent repetitive movements involving the back, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Occasional stair and ramp usage.
- Occasional sitting for extended periods.
- May require cleaning or exposure to biohazard materials and bodily fluids.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

- While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be exposed to tobacco smoke, moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with regular exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature changes, humidity, dust, and environmental elements. Noise levels are generally moderate.
Local travel is occasionally required. Travel outside of the state is infrequently required. Typical travel time is generally less than a week.
