Room Checker oversees their assigned buildings/personnel. Room Checker is to move cleaners around to assure all reserved rooms get cleaned first and all rooms get cleaned before the end of the day. Room Checker must have knowledge of our systems, including maestro, purple cloud, google sheets, docs, and others. Room Cleaners help plan and organize weekly meetings. Room Checkers must be able to clearly communicate with Front Desk, Maintenance, Room Cleaners, Cart Drivers, and Laundry Personnel.

• Transfer cleaners to ensure priority rooms cleaned first.
• Communicate with Front Desk, Maintenance, Cart Drivers, Laundry, and Room Cleaners.
• Coordinate weekly meetings and documentation using google sheets, docs, maestro, and purple cloud.
• Lead teams of housekeeping, laundry, and cart driver staff.
• Monitor room updates, damages, and supplies across all property segments.
• Make daily reports and assign equipment (phones, radios, tablets).
• Train staff in multiple positions (laundry, shampoo carpets, odd jobs, room cleaner, deep clean, late person, bed maker).
• Perform clean‑up duties as needed.

• Successful housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to take direction and contribute to a team atmosphere.
• Good listening and English verbal communication skills.
• Legible written English communication skills.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds, carry loads upstairs, and lift items overhead.
• Ability to provide quick service and maintain composure under stress.
• Self‑motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
• Genuine interest and desire to provide excellent guest service.
• Good grooming and personal hygiene.
• Flexible and willing to adapt schedules to meet business demands.
• Flexible and willing to learn new job roles.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Ability to read and fill out daily paperwork in English.
• Pass company‑mandated background check.
• Complete room reports and worksheets for room cleaners of both Campbell’s and Midtowner.
• Familiar with Google Drive, Word, and Excel.
• Flexible to fill in different positions of work.
• Availability to communicate with other departments and lead team.

• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods (up to 8‑10 hours).
• Occasional reaching, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 40 pounds.
• Carry loads upstairs.

This is a variable‑hour position, expected work hours are based on seasonal volume, business demand, and hours of operation. Weekends and holidays are also necessary. Must be flexible and willing to adapt schedules to meet business demands.
