Overview
Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Seasonal Event Set‑Up Coordinator for Skamania Lodge, a 175‑acre Pacific Northwest resort offering tree houses, glamping, golf, ziplining, a spa, and multiple restaurants.
The role involves preparing and setting up banquet and meeting spaces, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities- Set up for upcoming events while maintaining the hotel’s standards, policies, and procedures with assigned staff.
- Prioritize and organize work assignments and adhere to timelines for setups.
- Adapt to last‑minute changes, workflow, or requirements.
- Transport equipment, including tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, podiums, and other banquet/meeting room equipment.
- Operate equipment, machinery, and tools while remaining alert and following safety protocols.
- Enforce all safety and security measures as outlined by hotel management and protect company assets.
- Review banquet event orders and check in with supervisor for instructions for current functions and sets assigned.
- Greet all guests courteously, displaying a helpful attitude and providing exceptional customer service.
- Ensure guests receive conference needs and requests promptly.
- Unload trays and carts in the service area and keep the area neat, clean, and stocked.
- Complete closing procedures, break down event setups, and report hazardous conditions or broken equipment to Maintenance immediately.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Washington State Food Worker’s Card or ability to obtain MAST Card or Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to be on your feet most of the day, walk, and climb stairs.
- Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 25lbs at shoulder height and up to 50lbs frequently.
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Can adapt quickly to changing priorities and last‑minute requests.
