Golden Chain Nicholas Royal Motel, Hay, NSW 2711. Permanent full-time position. Base salary $80,000 – $85,000 (above average). Superannuation provided on top of salary.

The Golden Chain Nicholas Royal Motel, located in the heart of Hay, is seeking a motivated and experienced Motel Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations. We pride ourselves on providing high‑quality, comfortable accommodation in a welcoming garden setting. We are looking for a hands‑on leader who is committed to maintaining our reputation for excellence, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

• Direct and oversee all reservation, reception, housekeeping, and maintenance activities to ensure seamless service.
• Supervise security arrangements and ongoing maintenance of gardens and facilities.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, and purchasing activities; monitor cash flow and resource management.
• Assess and review customer feedback to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, promptly resolving complaints.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant liquor, gaming and other laws, and maintain high standards of Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
• Provide local tourism information to guests and assist with coordination of travel or local activities as needed.

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality/accommodation sector for 4 to 5 years.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational departments simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of financial management, rostering and administrative tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining the high standards associated with the Golden Chain brand.
