Talent Manager
Job Summary
Under the direction of the site’s HR Manager, this position is responsible for all recruiting functions for the Kettle River Operations and Curlew Project. The recruiter will serve as a key link between hiring managers, HR, and external talent, helping to build a strong, local workforce that aligns with the organization’s safety, operational, and values. This role will support the Curlew Project for an estimated length of 18 months.
EssentialFunctions
- Responsible for completing the full life cycle of the recruiting and onboarding process for all internal Kettle River employees.
- Manage the job description database to include creating new job descriptions as needed, updating aged descriptions and vetting through hiring managers.
- Update and maintain the internal applicant tracking system.
- Establish, evaluate and utilize various sourcing strategies to develop an appropriate pipeline of candidates for all current and future requisitions.
- Manage all job postings and external advertising.
- Coordinate virtual and in-person interviews.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and support throughout the hiring process.
- Generate offer letters, relocation packages, and initiate onboarding process.
- Oversee and schedule pre-employment activities to include background checks, physicals, and drug and alcohol screening.
- Responsible for immigration cases for current and new employees.
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding hiring practices.
- Communicate and coordinate with the HR, safety, and hiring departments.
- Meet performance metrics set by HR management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Adheres to all safety and environmental considerations.
- Has a strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Wears Personal Protective Equipment at all times while in the production environment.
- Is alert and observes, corrects, and reports unsafe conditions.
- Follows operating procedures and complies with all regulatory requirements.

Compensation DataSalary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
