Job Overview

The HR Generalist provides broad human resources support across HR Operations, HR Talent & Culture, and HR Total Rewards, contributing to effective service delivery, data integrity, and an enhanced employee experience. In this capacity, the position delivers professional support that advances the organization’s business operations through analysis, problem‑solving, and application of HR expertise. The role requires evaluating information from multiple HR domains, applying professional judgment to determine appropriate actions, and making recommendations that influence HR operations and organizational outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations to resolve complex employee and leader inquiries, evaluating circumstances, determining appropriate guidance, and exercising independent judgment on matters with organizational impact.
  • Analyze HR data, documentation, and case information to identify discrepancies, trends, and risks; recommend process improvements that enhance data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across HR Operations, HR Talent & Culture, and HR Total Rewards.
  • Manage and execute HR transactions and system updates requiring accuracy, discretion, and understanding of interrelated HR processes, ensuring information integrity and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Support compliance activities by maintaining accurate records, preparing required documentation, monitoring deadlines, and participating in audit‑related work to ensure adherence to federal, state, and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with HR teams on cross‑functional projects aimed at improving service delivery, workflow efficiency, and employee experience, contributing research, benchmarking, and operational insight to inform decision‑making.
  • Develop and prepare HR reports and analysis for leaders, compiling data across HR functions and presenting insights that support planning, forecasting, and evaluation of HR practices.
  • Participate in the development, revision, and communication of HR materials, including process guides, communication content, and change‑management documents, to support organizational initiatives and ensure consistency in HR practices.
  • Conduct presentations as assigned.
  • Coordinate and support HR workflows such as documentation management, case handling, onboarding steps, and hiring‑related processes, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in alignment with HR standards.
  • Serve as an HR representative at internal or external events, supporting organizational outreach, engagement initiatives, and the consistent communication of HR programs and services.
  • Support employee relations activities by preparing documentation, conducting fact‑finding, and managing follow‑up tasks under HR guidance, maintaining confidentiality throughout the process.
  • Assist with recruitment‑related activities, including candidate coordination, communication management, and maintaining accurate hiring records to support efficient and compliant hiring processes.
  • Support early‑stage talent sourcing and outreach by assisting in identifying potential candidates and engaging through appropriate channels to support talent pipeline development.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience:

    At least 3 years of relevant work experience required.
  • License/Certification: SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification at the time of hire or attainment within 12 months of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of general Human Resources practices, processes, and terminology.
  • Knowledge of HR systems, employee self‑service tools, and HR data standards.
  • Knowledge of basic employment regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Skill in organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
