Lunch and Playground Supervisor

The purpose of this position is to provide assistance for children during the lunch program. This person must supervise children to ensure a positive, safe environment for children to eat and enjoy recess time through group interaction and physical exercise.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to frequently walk and stand, and occasionally sit.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull up to 12 lbs.
• Ability to understand and follow basic oral and written instructions.
• Enforce school regulations and policies in a professional manner.
• Must possess a confidential and professional attitude.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with fellow employees and pupils.

When weather permits lunch recess is outside, so supervisors need to dress accordingly. When weather does NOT permit, lunch recess will be inside; supervisors will walk the hallways and monitor classrooms.
