Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for a Material Handler to work in Washington, IL.

Trillium Staffing has an opening for a Material Handler. The Material Handler is primarily responsible for acquiring and preparing the raw materials for the next run on all injection molding presses, cleaning the dryers or grinders at the end of a run, and grinding scrap materials to be used again.

• Preparing the raw material by mixing resins and loading them into the dryers prior to a run.
• Delivering inserts to secondary and making sure the right ones are available when they are needed.
• Grinding scrap material to be reused on other runs.
• Emptying and cleaning the dryers and grinders after a run.
• Operating a forklift to move pallets from location to location.
• Ensuring a clean transfer of material from run to run.
• Understanding all bills of material and the components.
• Performing set up tasks that are related to material changeovers.

This is a 3rd shift position. Hours are 10:45pm – 7:15am, Sunday - Thursday. Pay is $17/hour plus a $2/hour shift differential. This position is full-time and temp-to-hire. A competitive benefits package is offered upon company hire.

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months previous fork truck (stand up or sit down) experience required
• 1+ years of Material Handler experience required
