Fehr Graham is a fast‑growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm looking for a motivated and experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for a self‑starter who thrives on variety, enjoys working with people and is ready to take their marketing career to the next level.

Compensation: $57,000 - $75,000 / year

Where you'll work

You’ll join a fast‑paced, collaborative marketing team that serves Fehr Graham’s offices across Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. This is an in‑office or hybrid role, but you must live within 50 miles of one of our offices. What You'll Do
  • Content creation. Write blog posts, news releases, case studies and award submissions that highlight our work and team members.
  • Social media management. Own our social media presence by creating engaging posts, responding to messages and leading campaigns.
  • Media outreach. Pitch stories and manage news releases to keep Fehr Graham in the spotlight.
  • SEO and digital strategy. Collaborate with writers and authors to optimize blog posts, source visuals and provide leadership updates.
  • Project management. Keep marketing work moving by coordinating tasks, setting deadlines and following up to ensure delivery.
  • Proposal support. Help develop and produce statements of qualifications and other competitive proposals to win work.
What it takes

Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or a related field and have at least four years of related professional experience.

  • Write and edit content for everything from social media and proposals to technical trade publications and SEO quickly and accurately.
  • Be comfortable adapting to AI in an evolving and transforming era.
  • Bring experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
  • Manage projects with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Think strategically and critically and deliver innovative solutions that engage and inform.
  • Use tools like Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Microsoft Suite, Canva, asset management programs, client relationship management databases, social media platforms and digital content management systems.
  • Collaborate comfortably with professionals, including C‑suite executives.
  • Thrive in a fast‑paced environment and tackle challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Speak and write well.
  • Show strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Be a team player.
