Overview
$2,000 sign-on bonus for any new FULL TIME CMA – 1-year commitment.
The Clinic CMA/LPN/RN plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care within both medical and behavioral health settings. This position is responsible for assisting providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient/client flow. The Clinical staff perform routine administrative and clinical tasks and helps ensure positive care experiences for all patients/clients at the Family Health Center.
Essential Functions- Prepare exam rooms and patients for provider visits, procedures, and treatments
- Obtain and review medical histories, medications, vital signs, and other health information
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications as directed by licensed providers, in accordance with scope of practice
- Perform basic laboratory tests
- Accurately document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations and medication calls as needed
- Maintain neat and clean work and storage areas, specifically supplies
- Complies with all regulatory, state, and federal regulations as well as FHC policies and procedures
- Obtains and maintains required competencies for the role
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care, mental health, or integrated healthcare setting preferred.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentMental:

Physical:
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting of patients or equipment (up to 20 lbs).
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including typing for EHR documentation.
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching to provide patient care.
- Dexterity to perform hands-on procedures such as injections and diagnostic testing.
- Occasional exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and hazardous materials; adherence to infection control protocols is required.
- Prolonged sitting at a desk with frequent computer use.
- Clinical environment with exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous materials, and emotionally challenging patient cases.
Certification:
Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program
Licensure:
Must have a valid driver's license, LPN/RN from an accredited program
