• Greets all patients and guests in initiating check-in process.
• Obtains and verifies accurate patient identification & demographic data to confirm or update the patient's record while maintaining confidentiality of information.
• Is responsible for completing eligibility of insurances presented and possibly offering some financial counseling as well as conducting point-of-service collections.
• Is responsible for completing registration for all admission processes while providing customer service in person and via phone.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience in office or hospital setting
• Excellent customer and clerical experience a must
• Must be able to multi-task while being detail-oriented, organized, exhibit time management skills and efficiency
• Computer skills with ability to type at least 40 wpm
• Must be team-oriented but able to work independently
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods & repetitively
• Experience with billing and insurance is preferred
