SAP Finance and Controlling Architect (SAP FI/CO Architect)

Washington, D.C. (5 Days Onsite)

Contract

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance and Controlling Architect with deep expertise in SAP FI/CO and S/4

HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale SAP Finance solutions, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services industry.

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of SAP FI/CO solutions across enterprise environments.
• Drive SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance transformation initiatives and system integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather finance and controlling requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance on SAP Finance best practices, governance, and process optimization.
• Design scalable and efficient financial reporting, controlling, and compliance solutions.
• Support end-to-end project lifecycle activities including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work closely with technical teams, business users, and leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

• 20+ years of overall IT/Industry experience.
• 10+ years of hands‑on SAP FI & CO experience.
• 4+ years of SAP S/4
  
  HANA experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules.
• Experience with SAP Finance transformation and architecture design.
• Strong understanding of finance industry best practices.
• Banking domain experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise SAP implementations.
• Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules.
• SAP certifications are a plus.
