Play a key role in keeping our feed manufacturing operations running strong as a Feed Mill Dust Control Technician. This position supports all areas of the feed mill, contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality feed production through hands‑on operational and facility support. You’ll gain exposure to multiple aspects of feed manufacturing, including operations, receiving, dispatch, feed scheduling, and food safety practices, while working as part of a team committed to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm
- Operate a forklift to unload deliveries.
- Pressure wash areas of the mill.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. reasonable distances.
- Fulfill other general housekeeping duties and assist other departments when called upon.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Reading, writing and math skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Exposed to existing weather conditions while outside and controlled room/machine conditions while inside work is performed.
- Exposed to airborne dust, chemicals such as Formaldehyde, Peroxide, caustic cleaners/disinfectants and industrial lubricants.
- Must have the ability to move through the facility and carry required equipment, tools which could weigh as much as 100 lbs.
- Must wear required safety equipment including necessary PPE, respirators, etc. as required.
