DECISION ANALYTICS CONSULTANT

Decision Analytics Consultants serve on project teams that deliver high-quality projects to clients. In particular, Consultants combine best-in-class analytic skills with strong problem-solving and communication abilities to lead analytical work to help clients solve strategic, tactical, and operational business problems. Consultants may work on multiple projects simultaneously. As Consultants advance in their career, they often specialize in a particular industry, practice area and/or client relationship.

In high tech vertical, we help clients modernize their commercial engines and unlock sustainable revenue growth. You will partner with senior client leaders (CROs, Heads of Sales, GTM Strategy, Rev Ops) to design and implement data-driven commercial strategies, operating models, and transformation programs that improve productivity, accelerate pipeline, and drive profitable growth. This role blends strategy + analytics + execution — ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and turning insights into action.

You will also help clients build scalable, repeatable commercial capabilities that endure beyond the program, embedding the processes, tools, and governance needed to sustain impact over time. Success requires the ability to navigate highly matrixed, global organizations, align diverse stakeholders, and drive outcomes through influence, collaboration, and change leadership.

What You'll Do:

  • Support project leadership in defining scope, structuring workplans, and executing data-driven analyses to address client commercial challenges.
  • Independently lead project work streams, conducting analyses, testing hypotheses, and developing insights to improve sales effectiveness and revenue performance.
  • Translate data into clear findings, actionable recommendations, and executive-ready materials for client and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day delivery by tracking progress, organizing project data, and coordinating activities across cross-functional client teams.
  • Help implement practical, scalable processes, reporting, and tools that strengthen clients’ commercial operations and decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively within highly matrixed client environments, building alignment and driving adoption of recommended changes.
  • Support business development activities, including proposals, client workshops, and opportunity shaping.
  • Contribute to internal firm initiatives such as capability building, recruiting, and knowledge development.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering strong analytical rigor, storytelling, and consulting skills.

What You'll Bring:

  • MBA with a bachelor's (and often graduate) degree in a quantitative, analytical discipline, such as Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or Engineering. Alternately, candidates may possess a PhD in marketing, economics, decision sciences or related field with a business application. In lieu of an MBA or PhD, 5-8 years of relevant work experience may substitute.
  • Up to 3 years of post-MBA relevant work experience, and 3-5 years of pre-MBA relevant work experience, with evidence of strong analytic work (including use of advanced modeling techniques and tools such as R, SAS, Tableau, or VBA).
  • High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative.
  • Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, leading and managing teams.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level decision…
