Sr. Supply Chain Manager – Network Design, Amazon AIR

Key Responsibilities- Lead mid‑ and long‑term network planning initiatives for Amazon Air.
- Serve as the key point of contact for other business units (e.g., ground transportation, fulfillment centers, last mile, etc.).
- Develop capacity plans and shape network strategy while driving continuous improvement across customer experience, cost, and sustainability metrics.
- Manage program and capital planning, including developing timelines, engaging stakeholders, identifying risks, and developing contingencies.
- Evaluate trade‑offs to solve customer needs and cost, driving consensus across partner teams (Finance, Operations, Process Engineering, Procurement, etc.).
- Partner with Research Science & Technology as a subject‑matter expert to create new planning and forecasting tools.
- Navigate ambiguity, manage multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, and accept ownership and accountability of the process to deliver on commitments.
- Travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
The Network Design Leader designs network operating plans—new routes— and communicates those plans across internal teams. The role also assists in creating long‑term strategic recommendations for fleet, gateway, hub, and sortation needs. Through data analysis, modeling, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and industry research, the candidate will develop an optimal Amazon Air flight schedule that maximizes asset utilization across air and ground assets while achieving multi‑faceted business objectives.

Network Design (ND) is one of the primary pillars of the Planning and Performance organization within Amazon Air. The team sets the course for Amazon Air to continue raising the bar for customers by ensuring the best possible mix of fast speeds, low costs, and superior quality and reliability.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- 5+ years of supply chain experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Master’s degree or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years of driving process improvement experience.
- Network planning experience within an airline.
Salary range: $ – $ annually (USA, WA, Bellevue).
