Duties
* You will manage all facets of the COMSEC program, developing and enforcing local policies for the handling, storage, and accountability of all cryptographic materials to ensure compliance.
* You will audit and conduct official security inspections of COMSEC accounts, prepare formal reports on findings, and direct corrective actions.
* You will conduct comprehensive technical risk assessments on new and existing systems using automated tools and manual reviews.
* You will develop and manage the command's security awareness and training program to ensure all personnel understand and adhere to security policies.
* You will define and maintain the network architecture, design, configure, install, and optimize core network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
* You will manage the complete life cycle of IT and communications equipment for the ICP, ensuring all systems are configured and tested for rapid deployment during exercises or real-world incidents. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code COMSEC Manager, proficiency level Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the lifecycle of networked systems and design, configure, and optimize core network devices to ensure reliable and secure voice, data, and video services. Examples of qualifying experience may include: managing command's or unit's COMSEC programs, overseeing all KMI generated cryptographic material, conducting required audits, and leading incident investigations, to implementing a multilayered INFOSEC program that protects system confidentiality, integrity, and availability in accordance with DoD and NIST requirements.
