IT Support Technician Onsite

Insitu has an immediate need for an IT Support Technician for a contract opportunity that is onsite in Bingen, WA.
This role troubleshoots, services, and repairs a wide variety of computer hardware, software, and AV equipment. It provides IT support to customers, responds to service requests, finds fixes, workarounds, and final solutions by troubleshooting issues while providing exemplary customer service. It maintains support logs and issue tracking, and provides instructions to users on a wide variety of applications and equipment. The technician must be technically capable, a self‑starter, with strong organizational and customer‑service skills.

• Initial system configuration of computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
• Develop standard guidelines to be used for self‑help and/or responding to customer requests.
• Respond to tickets in accordance with established guidelines.
• Record, track, and document the help‑desk request problem‑solving process through to the final resolution.
• Respond in a timely manner to requests and issues.
• Repair and replace equipment as needed.
• Provide onsite and remote support to end users.
• Elevate and coordinate out‑of‑scope technical issues.
• Assess needs and recommend hardware or software to meet end‑user needs.
• Enter purchase requisitions as necessary.

3years of related experience and an associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to commute to Bingen, WA. The position is onsite.
