Position: PC Technician (Active Secret Clearance)
Location: Bridgeport

Our client is hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist in Bridgeport, WA. The role provides both remote and onsite technical, operational, and training support to users and handles escalated help desk issues for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide second‑tier support to end‑users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.
Handle problems that the first‑tier help desk support cannot resolve.
Install, test, and configure personal computers, printers, and peripherals; load operating systems and application software.
Troubleshoot printer, computer, and peripheral incidents; perform hardware and software diagnostics and coordinate repairs.
Resolve computer system issues, including coordination between users and LAN components, and assist in evaluation of system configuration and software.
Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and identify core problems.
Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.

Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance.
Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level I (e.g., A+, Network+, SSCP, CCNA‑Security).
Valid driver’s license.
Experience supporting Windows 10 and MS Office 2013.
Experience using Remedy or a similar ticketing system.
Ability to coordinate and gain cooperation from multiple IT areas.

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience maintaining Xerox, Lexmark, HP, or Ricoh printer devices (including installing maintenance kits).
Prior USACE/ACE‑IT experience.
Experience working in a DoD environment.
Experience supporting Office 365.

Hourly pay: $28.86 – $33.65.
