As a Program Manager II in Amazon's Last Mile Science and Analytics team, you will lead the development of AI and machine learning solutions that directly impact the speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of delivering millions of smiles to customers' doorsteps every day. You will bridge advanced data science and practical business applications, translating complex algorithms into user-friendly tools that drive last mile operations.
Responsibilities- Drive the product vision and strategy for last mile delivery optimization tools.
- Collaborate with data scientists to translate complex algorithms into user-friendly products.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders across Amazon's global operations.
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop and launch new features and products.
- Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to guide continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps, balancing short‑term needs with long‑term strategic goals.
- Communicate product updates and value propositions to internal teams and leadership.
A day in the life:
Our team is dedicated to improving e-commerce delivery by optimizing our vast network, forecasting demand using machine learning, enhancing route efficiency, developing innovative delivery methods, and conducting geospatial analysis. We create simulations to refine processes, plan capacity effectively, and develop adaptable solutions for diverse markets, advancing logistics science and customer satisfaction worldwide.
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) and SQL.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.
- 3+ years of driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
- 3+ years of driving process improvements.
- Experience in stakeholder management with multiple stakeholders at varied organizational levels.
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
The base salary range for this position is 82,700.00 – USD annually in Bellevue, WA. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
