Manager III, Business Intelligence, Robotics Delivery and Packaging Innovation — Services LLC
Are you passionate about sustainability and waste reduction efforts across Amazon’s global organization? This role focuses on balancing packaging and automation to increase speed, reduce cost, and improve the customer experience. The Robotics Delivery and Packaging Innovation team builds and maintains end-to-end data and analytics solutions to drive business decisions. You will spearhead high-visibility projects to design, implement, and measure solutions for large, complex data spanning many sources and data structures using AWS tools.
The role requires deep SQL proficiency, knowledge of data design and warehousing best practices, and the ability to apply statistical/ML/AI solutions to business problems. You will manage a source-of-truth data store and metrics for warehouse automation and customer packaging, and oversee ETL design and implementation (potentially with support from Data Engineers). The goal is to ensure the right data is available and to curate metrics that support customer experiences across multiple data sources with a high degree of ambiguity.
The ideal candidate thinks strategically, mitigates bottlenecks, and delivers enterprise-level solutions that balance optimization with speed while integrating into a broad ecosystem of data pipelines and visualization tools. Strong writing and code development best practices are important, as is a well-rounded analytics skillset including basics in statistical analysis, automation, and common coding languages. If you love hard problems with many solutions and a diverse, results-oriented environment, this role could be for you.
