Job Description

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Administrator II will provide support for technology monitoring and engage in incident management and resolution. Responsibilities include initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of monitoring incidents involving application software products and/or infrastructure components. The NOC Administrator II collects information through monitoring tools, supports resources, and maintains environment awareness. This role also mentors, supports, and trains entry‑level NOC Administrator I.

Incidents beyond the scope of their ability or responsibility are escalated to the proper IT team.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Monitor network performance and availability using monitoring tools.
  • Respond to alerts and incidents promptly according to established procedures.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and resolution of network issues.
  • Document all incidents, including resolution steps and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams and vendors.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end‑users and other IT staff.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance tasks to ensure network health.
  • Participate in the implementation of network upgrades and enhancements.
General Responsibilities
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • On‑site support is required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience:

    3‑5 years of experience in an IT support role required.
  • Preferred:
    Network/Systems/Security experience.
  • Preferred:
    Healthcare experience.
License / Certification / Registration Requirements
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Demonstrates ability to understand Corporate, Division, and Facility specific applications, technology, and terminology.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Competency in MS Office Suite and ticketing systems such as Service Now.
  • Understanding of multiple data centers and towers.
  • Expertise with multiple levels, types, and environments of monitoring.
  • Knowledge of tools integration and automation.
  • Knowledge of operational systems (OS’s), browsers, commands, and computer language tools.
  • Knowledge of M365.
  • Familiarity with Avaya and Cisco (CSM) Network and Security background.
  • Experience working in hospital/ambulatory environments.
  • Prioritization of patient safety at all times.
  • Strong communication skills with Management.
  • Adherence to technology and security standards.
  • Ensure network is in a constant operational status.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of sensitive files, data and materials accessed, discussed, or observed.
  • Thorough understanding of IP Networks, including VLANs, Firewalls, switches, routers and other network equipment (Cisco, etc.).
