Senior Configuration Management Specialist

Job Overview

DCS is searching for a performance‑driven Senior Configuration Management Specialist to support US Army programs. The role focuses on configuration management, logistics, engineering, technical support, and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. It supports multiple locations.

• Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates.
• Develops configuration and data management documentation based on program requirements.
• Participates in design reviews, audits, scheduling, budgeting, etc.
• Identifies requirements and assists in the development and implementation of computer‑based configuration/data management systems and related support.
• Provides configuration management planning and describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
• Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.

• U.S. Citizenship.
• BA/BS in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 8 years of experience as a configuration management specialist within the DOD environment, or
  • 1 academic year at an accredited college in a preferred degree‑related post‑secondary program plus 1 year of experience, or
  • 5 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance as needed.
