Job Summary:
The Decision Support Analyst, Provider Analytics is responsible for supporting clinical provider and clinic operations through data analytics, reporting, and performance measurement. This role serves as a key partner to physician leadership, operational leaders, finance, and provider compensation stakeholders by developing and maintaining compensation models, incentive calculations, productivity reporting, and performance dashboards. The analyst translates complex healthcare, financial, and operational data into actionable insights that support provider decision-making, strategic initiatives, and organizational goals.
This position also provides limited analytical support related to provider contracts and other health system agreements as needed.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field required. Relevant professional experience in healthcare analytics, decision support, business intelligence, finance, or a related discipline may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in healthcare analytics, decision support, provider compensation, finance, business intelligence, or related field preferred.
Experience working with physician/provider compensation models is strongly preferred.
Experience in healthcare operations, ambulatory services, physician practices, or health systems preferred.
Experience developing reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools, such as Power BI.Technical Skills
Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Epic Slicer Dicer, SAP Business Objects, or similar platforms.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
Knowledge of healthcare financial, operational, and productivity metrics.
Understanding of physician compensation methodologies, wRVUs, quality incentives, and value-based care metrics preferred.
Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
Collaborative approach with physicians, operational leaders, and interdisciplinary teams.
Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive compensation information.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $35.16 - $53.46
Incentive Compensation:
Eligible for up to 5% of annual salary through the incentive program
