McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Supervisor for its Jefferson office. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead an outstanding group of caring professionals in our Jefferson Family Medicine Department. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care through nurse visits
- Complete departmental In Basket tasks within the electronic health record
- Assist clinical staff in rooming patients and other daily tasks needed
- Develop departmental policies and procedures
- Assure adherence to clinic-wide policies
- Work with site APP for effective and efficient delivery of health care services
- Oversee staff scheduling, daily operations of the clinic, patient relations, patient scheduling, telephone calls, filling in for staff absences
- Graduate of accredited program for Medical Assistants.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Certification or registration from an approved certifying organization for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT & NHA).
- Possession of State Practical Nurse license.
- Possession of State Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.
Monday - Friday.
Hours8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Experience- Previous clinic or hospital experience.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
