Senior Supply Chain Manager, AMZL NA Topology Planning
Are you excited to drive high‑visibility, strategic logistics and technology solutions to help streamline Amazon’s operations? North America Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Topology Planning is looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills, supply chain knowledge, and technology experience to join our team as a Sr. Supply Chain Manager. This people‑manager position requires owning mid‑to‑long‑term topology strategy, site selection, site approval processes, short‑and‑long‑term build‑plan management, and topology optimization engine/tool improvement for Amazon delivery‑station planning.
Key Job Responsibilities- Own mid‑to‑long‑term topology strategy, site selection and site approval process
- 3‑year build‑plan management and ensuring incremental capacity delivery in a CAPEX‑optimized manner
- Work with multiple stakeholders across various supply chain functions (outbound transportation, real‑estate, engineering, launch, finance, operations, sales, and operation planning)
- Develop and implement ideas to drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes, infusing AI in daily repetitive tasks, and driving automation across the board
- Identify opportunities and influence organizations to gain support and overcome resistance with data and persuasion
- Lead a team and develop direct reports to consistently deliver valuable projects
- Communicate expectations and requirements equally well with business and technology teams
- Write well‑reasoned and data‑driven proposals, performing your own data analysis as necessary
- Utilize problem‑solving skills to work through difficult challenges
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of supply‑chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master’s degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field
