Position: LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Location: Keyport

Duties
* You will develop and maintain life cycle sustainment plans/product support strategies to maximize operational availability/readiness for Theater Undersea Warfare Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence systems.
* You will analyze system baselines and design documentation to produce logistics deliverables and oversee designated Configuration Items (CI).
* You will monitor and mitigate obsolescence issues and material shortages across system components to prevent operational disruptions.
* You will evaluate logistical impacts and calculate lifecycle cost estimates for engineering modifications and other complex system changes.
* You will lead collaborative efforts with technical teams and provide mentorship to subordinate logisticians to ensure cohesive product support. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
* Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

* This is a bargaining unit position.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the

Functional Area

and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport or a REAL
-Compliant form of identification.
* This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision. Qualifications For GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to assess and improve complex integrated product support operations.
* Developing, scoping, or maintaining Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and overarching product support strategies.
* Managing obsolescence and mitigating supply chain risks for critical systems by conducting parts analysis and directing inventory planning.
* Leading collaborative efforts with technical teams to ensure cohesive product support and mentoring junior logistics personnel. For GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Applying analytical and evaluative methods to assess the efficiency of logistics operations.
* Assisting in the development of integrated product support plans or logistics documentation.
* Identifying and resolving common issues in logistics or supply chain management, such as documentation errors or supply disruptions.
* Coordinating with team members on logistics projects and preparing reports or presenting findings. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:
