Position: Custodian

Pay: $20.00–21.49 per hour

Reports To: Greg Clark

Location: Nespelem, WA

This is a Non-Exempt position.

Education and Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the functions of the position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies used in custodial care and routine facilities maintenance.
• Thorough knowledge of the buildings and grounds of the assigned site.
• Working knowledge of safe work habits and safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of building, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Sufficient reading and writing ability to read work instructions and document work activity onto standardized forms.
• Sufficient human relations skill to exercise courtesy when dealing with others.
• Knowledge and experience with securing building during non-business hours.

Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

If required, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. This position may also be subject to pre-employment background clearances; if applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
