Join the team at Lakeland Village as a Custodian 1. The Custodian will perform heavy-duty cleaning and maintaining of floors: shampoo carpets, scrub, strip seal, and wax using industrial equipment. You will also perform a variety of routine custodial, housekeeping, and general maintenance functions to maintain the cleanliness, safety and care of Lakeland Village.

Schedule:

Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am - 5pm

Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.

Responsibilities
  • Perform heavy-duty cleaning and maintenance, including shampooing carpets, scrubbing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors using industrial equipment.
  • Carry out routine custodial, housekeeping, and general maintenance tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety.
What We're Looking For
  • Ability to keep accurate janitorial records and documentation
  • Knowledge of regulations and safety standards governing the cleaning of public facilities
  • Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies including safety practices relative to the use of cleaning agents
  • Ability to take direction and multitask, including when working independently
  • Familiarity with principles and practices of janitorial maintenance
  • Ability to use power equipment and chemicals
  • Flexibility, as daily workflow may change to fit the needs of the facility
