Join the team at Lakeland Village as a Custodian 1. The Custodian will perform heavy-duty cleaning and maintaining of floors: shampoo carpets, scrub, strip seal, and wax using industrial equipment. You will also perform a variety of routine custodial, housekeeping, and general maintenance functions to maintain the cleanliness, safety and care of Lakeland Village.
Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am - 5pm
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Responsibilities- Perform heavy-duty cleaning and maintenance, including shampooing carpets, scrubbing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors using industrial equipment.
- Carry out routine custodial, housekeeping, and general maintenance tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to keep accurate janitorial records and documentation
- Knowledge of regulations and safety standards governing the cleaning of public facilities
- Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies including safety practices relative to the use of cleaning agents
- Ability to take direction and multitask, including when working independently
- Familiarity with principles and practices of janitorial maintenance
- Ability to use power equipment and chemicals
- Flexibility, as daily workflow may change to fit the needs of the facility
A valid Washington State Driver s license and a minimum age of 18
