As a vital branch of our Association, the Stanwood-Camano Island Family YMCA is a cornerstone of the Stanwood and Island communities. Position SummaryOversee the total operation of the Stanwood-Camano YMCA branch, including budget, membership, marketing, programs, facilities, volunteer and staff development, financial development, community relations and collaborations with community agencies. Ensure a safe, positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes participant safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies, practices and procedures.
Job Duties /Responsibilities- Coordinates the development of the branch board and committees
- Directs the volunteer activities (policy and program) of the branch
- Directs the financial development activities of the branch
- Represents and promotes the YMCA in the local community and develops positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities
- Develops, maintains, and models collaborative relationships with community agencies in service delivery area
- Promote a diverse workforce; oversees the hiring, training, development and supervision of staff
- Develops, manages, and monitors the branch operating budget and meet or exceeds budget targets
- Directs branch strategic planning efforts and develops the annual operating plan of the branch
