Position: Manufacturing Summer Help Assembler
Location: Leavenworth

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is hiring Manufacturing Summer Help Assemblers that will work alongside our production teams. We are seeking individuals who wish to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high-tech environment.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

• Following detailed work instructions to perform basic production duties such as assembly, operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.
• Learning and following all safety policies.
• Developing positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently

• Fine finger dexterity sufficient to handle and place parts with precision and accuracy for at least 8 hours

Pay Range Data

New hires generally start at $20.00 per hour. Our swing shift also offers a shift differential of $1.75 per hour on top of the $20.00 starting wage. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
