Position Summary
:
At Parker Aerospace, we develop technologies and innovative solutions enabling reliable, efficient, and sustainable flight throughout the aircraft lifecycle. This role focuses on operating and maintaining high‑precision machines to produce aerospace components from Nickel, Stainless, and Titanium alloys.
Shift
:
Monday–Thursday, 3:15 p.m. – 1:45 a.m.
- Operate engine lathes, milling machines, punch presses, forming presses, shears, press brakes, expands, and other equipment to produce high‑quality details that flow into assembly value streams.
- Ensure proper machine setup to yield parts that meet customer tolerances.
- Interpret written instructions, sketches, and drawings.
- Use precision measuring instruments to check tolerances and part quality.
- Perform work in accordance with safety procedures and established standards.
- Record manufacturing and time‑card information in the paperless system.
- Work under direct oversight.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing planning and technical sketches.
- Ability to seek clarification when necessary.
- Knowledge of proper setup and tooling for machine operation.
- Familiarity with machine tools, precision instruments, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform shop mathematics associated with machining.
- Experience with a specific machine type or a single purpose machine is a plus.
- Other duties as assigned to support company vision and commitments.
- Operate equipment safely and wear required personal protective equipment (safety glasses/full face shield, hearing protection, heat‑reflective garments, gloves).
- Frequent use of arms and legs, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing, and handling material.
- Pay Range: $19.25‑$24.25 per hour.
- Participation in the Annual Incentive Program.
