Industrial Refrigeration, Power Generation, and Petrochemical. With manufacturing facilities in Colville, WA and Paxton, IL the company is well positioned for continued growth. This position will be located in Colville, WA and will support operations for two manufacturing facilities.
The company is seeking a hard-working, creative, self-motivated individual to work in the Production Engineering Department. This position is full-time, non-exempt, $22.00/hr - $31.63/hr DOE. Compensation includes medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer matching contribution, life insurance, employee assistance program, and training opportunities. Regular shifts are Monday -- Friday with overtime as needed. Day shift hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and swing shift hours are 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm.
Responsibilities- Using Solid Works to generate detailed models for submittal drawings, production build packages, and electrical drawings.
- Generating pre-purchased parts lists for the Purchasing Department.
- Resolving design problems.
- Reviewing and analyzing specifications.
- Specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures.
- Drafting technical details.
- Working with the application engineers to solve issues and improve designs.
- Consulting technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.
- Providing design input on new and custom products.
- Creating and storing drawings electronically.
- Preparing variations of design.
- Understanding UL 508A.
- Year Drafting Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience with Colmac products/practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
