Plant Operations Manager | Washington State
An established food manufacturing company with a proud legacy and strong employee culture is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to lead all aspects of production at its Pacific Northwest facility. This individual will be a key member of the site leadership team, driving performance, engagement, and reliability across operations.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of a mid-sized operation recognized for its stability and strong culture. The right leader will drive results through team empowerment, process discipline, and continuous improvement across production, quality, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and develop front-line leadership to achieve daily production, quality, and safety goals.
- Partner cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
- Champion consistent communication through tier meetings, shift handoffs, and visual management.
- Maintain strong compliance with internal and external audits.
- Foster a culture that values accountability, teamwork, and employee care.
- Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Proven leadership experience in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing
. - History of managing multiple supervisors and large production teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong floor presence with a balance of people focus and process discipline.
- Experience supporting audits, safety initiatives, and performance routines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required — hands-on leadership and results matter most.
- Union experience a plus, though not mandatory.
- Willingness to relocate to a Pacific Northwest coastal community (relocation assistance provided).
