** This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months.
**** What You'll Be Doing
*** Safely operate a variety of heavy and fixed plant equipment to support daily aggregate production
* Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks to ensure safe, reliable performance
* Monitor material flow, production quality, and operating conditions, making adjustments as needed
* Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities and maintain efficient operations
* Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safety-first culture
** What Are We Looking For
*** Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a mining environment
* Strong knowledge of safety procedures with high situational awareness
* Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues
* Reliable and collaborative approach with clear and effective communication skills
* Ability to follow operational procedures, adapt to changing priorities, and familiarity with MSHA regulations, with Part 46 training considered an asset
** Conditions of Employment
*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
* Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
** Work Environment
*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
** What We Offer*** $45.09 to $46.12 per hour
