Job Description

• Specialist science/chemistry qualifications and proven knowledge

• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail in the field of expertise
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate findings and messages both written and verbally

• Maintenance of quality management system (Korean Standards, ISO)
• Prepare quarterly and yearly reports on R&D activities according to company procedures
• Continuous analysis of transfer prices, expenses, quality features, and production efficiency

Skills Required

• Master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
• At least 10 years of experience with chemical raw materials and products such as epoxy resin, polyurethane, etc.
• Proficiency in English (CEFR B1 or higher), both written and spoken
• Experience in chemical product manufacturing
• People management experience
• Experience managing laboratory facilities and equipment

Additional Information

This position is responsible for R&D activities, including business development support, test methods, standards, technologies, and personnel planning. The focus is on seamless production of Sika products with high performance, quality, and productivity, aligning with health, safety, and sustainability standards. The role supports Quality Control and production in solving manufacturing issues and reports to the Head of R&D / QC Korea.
