WHAT YOU'LL DOOur Plant Operations team makes ideas a reality. They work hard to ensure our refreshing, flavorful beverages are bottled safely and on time.
You’ll get hands-on (literally!) with the creation of our products by making syrups for the use on our production line and ensuring that our products live up to our standards.
Report to:
Quality Assurance Manager Direct Reports: N/ABase Hourly Rate: $22/hour + shift differential for hours worked outside of 1st shift
Discretionary Bonus Potential:
Up to $900 bi-annually. Eligibility is based on Plant and Company profitability.
Location:
Onsite at our Preston, WA plant 5 days a week
Core
Hours:
Sunday
- Thursday, 9:00 pm - 5:30 am (Start and end times are subject to change due to evolving business need)
Note:
Training hours will differ from Core Hours and will take place on 1st Shift, Monday
- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Exceptions can be made due to the availability of the applicant.
Properly measure and mix ingredients into syrup tanks, operating various equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, forklift truck), as well as an interactive panel touch screen.
Perform CIP (Clean In Place) of the Batching Equipment utilizing the Automated-Sanitation Controls System.
Record all material lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities accurately and efficiently.
Review finished batches using laboratory equipment to ensure that they meet specifications.
Accurately inventory ingredients, managing expiration dates and quantities.
Assist the QA Technician in performing product checks and line inspections.
Assist in carrying out the Food Safety/HACCP programs, verifying critical points.
Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times and notify the immediate supervisor of any food safety and quality issues.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRINGHigh School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience.
Math and computer skills desired.
Experience in an automated production or warehouse environment is preferred.
Chemistry or food science experience is a plus.
Ability to accommodate overtime, occasionally working other shifts and weekends.
Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, as well as to push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly.
