Position: Swing Shift- CNC Operator I
Location: Woodland

Position Overview:

The CNC Operator I is responsible for operating CNC equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality parts that meet specifications. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to grow as part of a high-performing manufacturing team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Start and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions, and notify the lead or supervisor of any issues

Perform thorough first-part inspections to verify parts meet specifications before production continues

Meet job standard cycle times with minimal supervision

Identify production issues and communicate concerns to the supervisor or lead in a timely manner

Perform general machine shop duties as assigned

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and proper equipment usage

Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other duties as assigned

Job Specification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision

Strong focus and ability to stay attentive during repetitive tasks

Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good verbal and written communication skills

Mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination/manual dexterity

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Works well in a team environment with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude

Preferred Education, Certifications and

Experience:

1-3 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry

Experience with MS applications

Strong skills and aptitude in math Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
