Extruder Operator

Job Description

Will operate extrusion equipment, perform QC checks and record results, empty finished product bins, handle raw ingredients, etc.

• Setup and operate processing equipment and operating systems.
• Batch ingredients by means of raw ingredient storage tank for packaging.
• Drying, coating and direct finish kibbles into proper storage tank for packaging.
• May operate forklift to move pallets.
• Follow work instructions and SOP’s and other job duties as assigned.
• Perform routine scheduled quality checks.
• Report any QA issues to supervisor or company official.
• Record lots.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., as needed.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to ride man lifts and climb ladders.
