Inventory Material Handler

Dogwood Industries is seeking an Inventory Material Handler to support modular industrial construction projects in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will receive, inspect, store, and move construction materials, ensuring accurate inventory and timely delivery to production teams. You will operate forklifts and material handling equipment, maintain organized storage areas, and assist with cycle counts. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams, you'll help keep rugged, relocatable, and permanent facilities projects on schedule while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials against purchase orders
• Accurately record material receipts and movements in inventory systems
• Organize and label materials for efficient access and traceability
• Stage and deliver materials to production lines per work orders and schedules
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely
• Monitor stock levels and alert supervisors of shortages or discrepancies
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant warehouse and yard areas
• Assist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams on material needs
• Follow all safety, quality, and handling procedures and PPE requirements
