Glass Packer

Ascend Staffing are recruiting hard reliable workers for our Glass Packing Company in Winlock, WA. If you would like a chance to grow and work with a great company here is your chance!

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen for THC and all drugs. This client has zero tolerance for THC or any drugs.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and lift/grip up to 70 lbs. with both hands.

Weekly pay – $20.00/hr for day shifts | $20.80/hr for night shifts (rotating shifts)

No prior experience required

• Move and lift materials safely throughout the facility
• Follow all health and safety regulations while operating equipment
• Wear required safety gear: headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and appropriate clothing
• Complete all assigned tasks quickly and safely
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
• Follow project instructions from managers or supervisors
• Adhere to all company safety rules and policies
• Monitor glass at it goes by for any defects
• Watch glass be made and ensure its being made correctly
• Use forklifts to move things around

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Rotating shifts: 2 weeks on days, then switch to 2 weeks on nights

Must be able to work weekends

Must be able to work both days and nights

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

must have GED or high school Diploma

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen including THC

Must pass a pre-employment physical and be able to grip up to 70 lbs. with both hands

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must be able to follow directions
